How to play craps

To play craps at craps-casino.jp se hex dice. Each face is marked with dots that represent a number. If the dice are made correctly, the sum of the numbers on the opposite faces is always seven: one opposite the six, two opposite the five, three opposite the four.

The game is played

Craps uses two dice. As a rule, they are made of high quality plastic. During throws, the edges of the dice are damaged and erased, which allows to manipulate the result. Because the dice are involved in the game no more than eight hours. After the specified time, or in the case of the dice flying out of the gambling table, they are replaced with new ones to prevent cheating attempts.

The game is played in several stages:

  • Come Out Roll;
  • Point Roll.

Betting during the game

Come Out Roll is the first stage where the Point is determined. This can be any amount rolled on the dice, except two, three, seven, eleven and twelve. Such a number will be drawn in the Point Roll stage, during which an unlimited number of rounds will take place. Point Roll ends when the Point number or the sum of marks on the dice equal to seven appears on the next roll.

Betting during the game

Different types of bets are available at different stages of the game. So, during the Come Out Roll the player can place chips on the fields:

  • Pass Line - the bet wins if the roll results in a total of seven or eleven;
  • Don't Pass Line - the bet wins if the combination on the dice is two, three or twelve.

If these numbers are rolled, the bet wins or loses, and the Come Out Roll stage is played again. If the sum on the sides of the dice is equal to any other number, the Point is determined and the game moves on to the next stage.

There is no limit to the number of rolls at the Point Roll stage. The game continues until the roll is equal to the number of Point or seven. In this case, the bets made on the Come Out Roll stage are saved. If you roll a seven during the second stage, the Pass Line bet loses and the Don't Pass Line bet wins at a 1:1 ratio. If the number Point is rolled, Don't Pass Line loses, and Pass Line, accordingly, pays 1:1.

During this phase there are many bets available with a long term perspective:

  • The Call bet is analogous to the Pass Line bet. It wins if the sum on the dice equals seven or eleven during the Point Roll stage;
  • Don't Call is a bet that the shooter will not play the Call bet;
  • Odds - additional bets that increase the number of chips in the Pass Line, Don't Pass Line, Call and Don't Call fields.
  • Win and Lose - bets on any number preceding the seven, or the number that will not fall before the seven, respectively;
  • Hard Ways - Betting on a double (two fours, two sixes, two twos, etc.);
  • Big Six - betting that a six will fall before the seven;
  • Big Eight - betting that the eight will fall before the throw, completing the stage.
You can also make additional bets for each round of the stage:

  • Field chips are a bet on the numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12;
  • Bets on exact numbers - four, five, six, eight, nine and ten;
  • Split bet on six and eight;
  • Any Craps - Betting that the roll will roll a 2, 3 or 12;
  • Craps Two - Betting on a two;
  • Craps Three - betting that the next roll will result in a three;
  • Any Seven is a bet on a seven;
  • Eleven - betting that the result will be 11;
  • Craps Twelve - a bet on the number 12.
